Dietetic Internship
How to Apply

All of the forms and instructions required to apply to the UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Dietetic Internship are available on this site. Please read all forms and instructions carefully. Only contact the program director if you have questions that are not answered in the information contained on this site, or if you wish to set up a tour of the facility.

To apply for the UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Dietetic Internship, you will need to:

  1. Read the Applicant Responsibilities provided by the American Dietetic Association (PDF)

  2. Submit computer matching through D&D Digital Systems. See Guidelines for Application Process.(PDF)

  3. Submit the Application Packet
    Using the standardized program application, your completed application packet MUST be submitted via U.S. mail and postmarked by Feb. 15, 2008. Applications via e-mail will not be accepted. Send completed packet to:

  4. Submit Letters of Recommendation with Application Packet
    Three letters are required. Use the Standardized Recommendation Form, dated 2004 from the Dietetic Educators of Practitioners website (www.depdpg.org/586.cfm). These forms must be placed in an envelope that is sealed and signed across the seal by the author.

  5. Schedule Telephone Interview
    Applicants must call to set up a telephone interview during the dates/times noted in step II in Guidelines for Application Process (PDF)
