Faith-Based Network

Several of western Pennsylvania’s faith-based long-term care organizations joined together in 1996 to form a new alliance, the Faith-Based Network. Member organizations represent various religious traditions and share a commitment to providing state-of-the-art services to local elders.

Initial participants in the faith-based network were Canterbury Place/Episcopal Eldercare Services, Inc.; Baptist Homes of Western Pennsylvania; Jewish Association on Aging; Presbyterian SeniorCare; and Asbury Heights/United Methodist Services for the Aging.

The network has committed itself to developing innovative programs and services by sharing the collective strengths of member organizations. Members explore all possibilities for collaboration through shared resources and services, as well as the standardization of procedures. Each member organization maintains its independent operations.
