The staff at Canterbury Place is committed to providing high quality services and attention to all residents. Prior to admission, and as needed, each resident is professionally evaluated and their level of care is determined
Level One: Minimal Assistance
Services provided may include any or all of the following:
Ordering and storage of resident’s medications.
Assistance with remembering or administration of medications.
Securing transportation for any type of activity.
Assistance with making and/or keeping appointments.
Level Two: Personal Hygiene
Services include one or all of the services in Level One in combination with
any or all of the following:
Bathing
Oral hygiene
Hair grooming and shampooing
Dressing or undressing
Shaving
Level Three: Functional Assistance
Services include one or all of the services included in Levels One
and Two in combination with any or all of the following:
Assistance with transferring resident in or out of bed
Assistance with ambulation
Assistance with use of prosthetic devices
Assistance with eating
Escorting to meals or activities
Personal hygiene, specifically related to toileting
Any other services classified as extensive assistance upon assessment may be included in the Level Three category, such as wound care, insulin injections, and any type of respiratory therapy. Please note, this is not an all-inclusive list of services.
