Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Health Center Suzan Obagi, MD Dr. Obagi is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego
with degrees in biology and psychology. She received her medical school
degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and subsequently
completed a one-year internal medicine internship at the University
of California, Irvine Medical Center. She returned to UPMC for her dermatology
residency and a fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Obagi is an expert on skin health restoration and cosmetic dermatologic
surgery. She has written numerous articles and book chapters on skin
health restoration, chemical peeling, dermabrasion and laser resurfacing.
Dr. Obagi has given lectures to ophthalmologic surgeons, oral maxillofacial
surgeons and dermatologic surgeons on the dermatologic approach to the
cosmetic patient and on the different methods of peeling. Dr. Obagi is the Director of the Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Health Center.
