Internal Medicine Residency Ibrahim Ghobrial, MD Ibrahim Ghobrial, MD, associate program director, is director of resident research for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, completed his internal medicine residency training at St. Francis Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Pa., in 1995. Dr. Ghobrial served as a staff physician and faculty member at St. Francis until joining UPMC McKeesport's Internal Medicine Residency Program in April 2001. Dr. Ghobrial is a graduate of Cairo University, Egypt, is board certified in internal medicine, and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of London (MRCP). He has been a member of the medical-dental staff since 2001.
