Among the professionals available at each clinic are medical geneticists, pediatric and adult neurosurgeons, genetic counselors, social workers, and nurse practitioners. A list of expert consultants is available to help handle virtually all aspects of NF. The clinic meets national standards established by the National Neurofibromatosis Foundation.

The clinic is held on the fourth Wednesday of each month in the Neurology Department, which is on the second floor of Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
