The Department of Human Genetics (412-624-9951) or the NF social workers (412-692-6544) can answer questions about NF, provide assistance to families, consult with the school systems, and coordinate appointments.  Support groups are available for families with NF.  Please call the NF social workers for details.

When you have a family member with NF, you meet many health care providers such as nurses, ophthalmologists, orthopedists, neurosurgeons, dermatologists, and geneticists.  We hope to make the health care maze a bit easier for families to understand and use.
